Tom checked himself out of the hospital. They wanted to put him in rehab/home . I refused. Indiana has a cute little trick they play here w/ old folk. They get you into a nursing home then when you die they take your home for payment. A spouse is allowed to stay but if both are gone the children are forced to sell . This isnt just In. I know Mi. is the same.

Here they are you sell the house first, or you can pay a big bill for the nursing home. I haven’t seen anyonenot get care.
