I do oven fries. Wash and slice, stick in a bowl with a little oil (I use olive) and put in the refrigerator for an hour or so (not sure why) then bake on a cookie sheet at 400° for about 1/2 hour. Time depends on how thick you cut them and how "done" you like them.I will never understand what millions of people see in frozen FFs. There just gross. Yet I eat them . Cause Im lazy. I would have my fried taters any day over those. Of course they need an onion , bacon grease and an iron skillet
