Here are some of my Belgians. They have some little lumps around their faces at the moment because its getting cold and dry where I live. Their names are Tango and Oreo. We are taking them to the vet to check out those black lumps this afternoon. View attachment 2140570View attachment 2140571

They are very cute! I hope the vet visit went well. Glad you have a vet that will see chickens... those symptoms didn't sound good.

Good night Granny, yes they are baby call ducks! They would not sit still for a picture. My friend is picking them up tomorrow.

You didn't fail. Stuff happens and you had it taken care of. End of life for our pets is never easy, and she's been your baby and friend for 12 years. Tears are normal.

I saw on FB where someone's Shih Tzu got attacked by an eagle, but it was too heavy to carry off. I an terrified my dog will be targeted by raptors.

Few years back, someone here had one of her tea cup chihuahuas taken by a great horned owl when she let the dogs out after dark to potty before bed. Poor dog. Terrible way to die.

They are cure! I was going to get a few, but then I heard how loud they really are... hence the name CALL ducks. Neighbors are way too close for us to have them.

Yuck on the heat. Did you get the yak scritching brushes set up yet? I would love to see them using that. I hope no one is a brush hog!

All dressed up and no where to go. Boo.. Toms nurse coming.. I still have to go to drs office though. HEY ! I heard its pretty normal to pee yourself when you have a uti.. That makes me feel better for real. I thought it was my new me. Thanks to God it isnt. Its me needing antibiotics.

I was talking to Robert about Twist and what he said to me made a lot of sense. So wise for someone thats never even kissed a girl. #1 he said was Twist has a backbone. He liked that. #2 he said if your ever in love w/ someone that little plum still sits in your heart the rest of your life. In that plum is all the good and sweet things you remember and hoped for. He said the hope will always be there no matter how you feel now. You can know it will never work but you cant get rid of that plum and sometimes if you water it enough it will re-hydrate and hopefully become sweet again. I love him. He knows how to talk to me to make sure I understand . Tree analogy was pretty awesome.
I also love Twist and this is why I wish his plum gets watered. His happiness is all I care about. He deserves to have someone after all these years. He said they are just friends and I take him at his word and if thats what makes him happy then be friends . I think that his manners dictates when he is on here and hopefully he will figure things out soon.
I guess thats about all I can say about it. that and Damned virus !

that was on the adgenda yesterday UNTIL Rod took a powder. Impossible for 1 person to use the post hole auger on the tractor .

I just sent off the hardest email I’ve ever had to do.

I emailed the vet asking if there were less invasive ways to shrink/drain the tumor and if not what my options were for euthanasia. I stressed that we’re not there yet but I fear with the aggressive growth we may be soon.

I couldn’t call. I was bawling my eyes out just writing the email....and I’m doing the same now. I have house errands to run and I just can’t.
