Ah. Takes time granny with the rescues. Took peach YEARS to get her where she is now. Method to my madness is find out what they love as a reward (praise, play, treats, pets/attention), move slow and bribe with what they love.
Peach has separation anxiety. She still does, to an extent. She’s not destructive about it anymore, blessedly she grew out of that after three but still. Even if my neighbor, whom she absolutely loves and adores takes her, she’s looking for me and whining and not happy. (When hubs and I went to Canada for nana’s planting, she stayed with this neighbor. The first night she didn’t settle and apparently she freaked right out when we left to go to the airport at 4am (she heard the car). She did eventually settle a bit but she was sulky.
