I agree. I think all breeding should stop for a solid 5 yr. or heavy penalties.

H2o - he says they normally skip heats so once a year breeding...guess he just goes through puppy binges at times? Feast or famine?

Maybe he is just breeding a lot because everyone wants puppy now. I get over 10 inquiries a day!

I don’t agree. Why should I not be allow to breed my dogs. I do it responsibly.

I’m all for people who breed responsibly, who have knowledge of genetics and bloodline and who have interest in maintaining or improving the integrity of a breed.

Problem is the backyard breeders who just think durrr puppies are cute...puppy mills, or those just out to make money off the suckers.

Granny, yes. Pup is mostly my call. But hubs has to deal with it so I do have to take his concerns into consideration.
