We have a date for hubs’ shop. Thurs/fri.

sigh. I don’t know what to do with peach. She’s still in good spirits but the tumor continues to grow....I worry about secondary infection. I worry about her bleeding everywhere. I don’t want her to wait until she’s absolutely miserable....but I don’t want to lose her too early either. (For those of you new to granny’s - my dog has oral cancer. She had the tumor removed and it still came back. Due to her age (12.5) and hip problems, I decided after the initial biopsy/removal to just see where chance took us. That was the wrong call.)

No, I started pulling weeds last week... probably disturbed her. Or a cat got her. The nest is all exposed and out in the open. Eggs were cold.

Is that quail eggs?

Yes! There aren't many birds that nest on the ground here except quail.

Looks good. I need to do a lot of that at my place.

Everything was starting to dry out and fire season has already started so I had to get that all cleared. Brush fire north of town just today.

say wishing what type of tree has the leaning trunk ?? Are you going to have to have it taken out ??

That is a huge coast live oak. We cut the branches from over the roof so it is leaning away. Branches touch the ground and it's like an outdoor room. Makes it very private. No plans to have it out yet.

No candling. I just left them... circle of life and all.
