I dont have any fish stores around here. I could call and ask but google isnt showing me any product. Not shrimp safe anyway.

If 3 days of no light would kill that stuff I'd be covering the entire tank and putting it in pitch black for 3 days in a heartbeat!!!! The other plants won't die that fast. You might hear them screaming "I'm STARVING" but heck, you've had kids, you've heard it before and they didn't die.Must of been the last plant I bought then. Its cool looking.
I read that blacking out the tank for 3 days will kill it but hurt the plants as well.
I have done all that except for the liquid co2Plecos can be pretty useless with algae I’ve found.
