Would be more humane to just kill it outright rather than have it suffer intentionally. It's just living a snake's life, no intention to cause you any harm.

That be true.. Wonder how many other snakes would come to its funeral? I'll go dispatch it.. but I hate doing that because they keep rats and other smaller snakes at bay.. I could cut it out, but I don't want it robbing Henri and Sweatpeas eggs..

I have three of those plants I got on clearance at Walmart last year.

I think there are still lots of wrinkles in the supply chains, especially for seasonal stuff. Most of the gardening supplies were gone by May 1st here. All the folks having to stay home decided to try some gardening.


Deja vu all over again.

I was surprised, Rural King has sold all their trees and bushes. Must have been too hot to garden much. And Lowes had a crummy selection of flowers.

One has a really nice crest, and so does one of the cockerels that I am growing out. The three of them roost in a tree at night. They actually stayed dry during a rain storm up there, the leaves do a good job deflecting the rain.

Me thinks my little buddy is an EE. His wing feathers are coming in Brown and white. If so, I'll have to wait and see if indeed he is a he and then maybe rename him. He still loves chasing my hand and checking out everything I tap on.

I have a young polish that jumps up to see me every time I open the brooder door! Luckily , it doesn't take off.
