Granny's gone and done it again

My big pretty one died this year. I wish I knew why. I have tons of the old fashion ones around the property line but this was a fav. in the middle of the yard.
I have a few more cuttings sitting in buckets, hoping they take root. Wonder how I could mail one... I don't know what color it is until the original one blooms.

Can you go out for the day where there might be some fresh air to breath?
We are in one of the best areas, air quality wise. The coast would be good, but don't want to take a chance of getting caught up in all the road closures or if they call a new evacuation. You can get caught in traffic for hours.

I have to dig out my N95 coop cleaning mask. That will help with the smoke so I can go out today. Seramas didn't get their kale yesterday. They are going to be complaining.

Also, there is another weather system coming up across this part of the state... there's a chance for more dry lightening. :( The new alert started at 5 this morning and lasts for a day or two. The last lightening episode had 12,000 ground strikes sparking more than 560 fires over a huge area of the state.
We don't need a repeat!

I ordered mine. They put the roots in wet newspaper then wrapped in plastic and a long box.

I count 10 corms from momma spider lily. When those are ready to go out, I'll let ya know.
