Granny's gone and done it again

:hit No, I won't get any sleep. Scooter was antsy to go out before bed, so I let him out. The little goober zoomed off and when he came back, so did the scent of skunk. :hit It wasn't a direct hit, so not as bad as it could be, but he is still sleeping in the garage. And I have a headache. :hit Perfume and smoke aren't the only things that give me an instant headache.
What a goober!!

I will see if my new air purifier will work on skunk. It does help with the smoke.
Oh no. Fingers crossed it helps!!!

I'm wondering if Roosters can have sympathy 'pains'? Maggie was in the hen house when I went out to feed.. she was singing the song of her people.. I didn't see Bruiser anywhere.. I looked and there he was sitting on the floor of the hen house near Maggie.. just chattering away.. She came out on to the roost and was blabbering up a storm, and he was right next to her. She went back in the hen house.. still blabbering, and in went Bruiser acting so much like a hen, and keeping her company. Silly boy.

Poor Curly Sue. Bloody stools? Foot rot? It's a good thing she's tame. I wonder if any of the others have problems like that... you'd never know. You feed them so well. Wonder what could be the cause.
Could have worms, or coccidia. Foot rot happens, especially if you can't trim hooves regularly.

Cant you do that in parts ? Like 2 legs tomorrow then make yourself stop? I mean, I cant but maybe you can?
Put a piece of carpet on an elevated surface like a table or a washing machine. Save your back.

My sniffer is working good this morning.. Was out weed eating near the edge of the jungle and got a good wiff of musk a couple of times. Deer must be coming into rut season. There is one doe who comes in the back yard to graze with her two offspring on occasion, so she must stay nearby.
