good morning Cap and Csolis! Rainy here--put a load of laundry in and a pot of tea on the stove. Chickens were hungry hungry hippos this morning!

Already been to town to pick up some lumber I needed, more zip ties, and some stall pellets. Gonna try them out in the brooder. Everyone is fed, of course... I had a waffle but that is wearing off too quickly.. so a couple of burgers with steak fries and um, something. Pot of tea is steeping on the counter now.

I has beer in the fridge, but I use it mostly on liver and onions when I'm cooking that.. 1/2 beer knocks me on my tail.. Not a great drinker.

beer can chicken is yummy. I made that in the oven once.

Its pretty easy. Spill/drink some of the beer out, add some spices in and stick it up the chickens butt. Bake it w/ the chicken standing up . It really makes it tender.

me too--a real cheap date my hubby used to say...nursed one drink most of the evening
