I had buff orps for 2 years and only 1 ever went broody and was a horrible mom. Silkies and cochins are broody machines. Just had one of my young silkies go broody and she hasn't even started laying eggs yet

Same here, never had a broody orps.

I dont know. He is a mess. scratching himself raw. Maybe an allergic reaction to flea drops

Good Morning all, I slept ok. another call at 8am from drs. Tom this time. All his blood work was good. They started him on a new med. for dementia . sad. I hope it helps though.
I have to go to town sometime today.

I would put socks on those hind feet and tape them on so he wouldn't be able to rip like that. Antibiotic ointment on those wounds.
