Granny's gone and done it again

How many chickens do you have now H2o
I have about thirty hens and 4 roosters, I know how my chickens are getting mites. They fly up in the oak tree at night to roost.
So of my hens are old. 5 years from my first batch from mcmurrays. Most are gone but I still have a few.

I am! Just tired. I had 91 hours on my last pay period (two weeks) and I’m averaging about 10k steps a day when I work. I get to work 5-5:30 and leave around 2, after my dishes are washed and food put away. One day I cried my whole drive home, but that was just a bad day. My team is really great and the residents are grumpy and opinionated. 😂
:hugs

Rats, I just missed Granny! GOT *here late cuz we watched the 10:00 news to check on the Prez. Not much info. H2o, Cap, Camping, sounds like y'all have been busy. I only got three eggs today. Three! And one a soft shell! Out of 24 layers. It's getting cool here and they are going to roost about 6:45 p.m. About a month ago I had more eggs than i knew what to do with. I was getting 12 to 16 eggs a day. Feast or famine.
Edit, originally hot. Sorry.

I got 2 eggs today. Worst ever. I think the weather turned too quickly.

Thanks, that makes me feel better! Do you think they just got chilled? Will they pick back up again when it warms up or they gtt used to it?
It seems to be a bad year for everything. Parasites, weather swings, diseases...who knows what comes next. They are likely in moult as well.

Yes, my EEs and Brown Leghorns look pretty rough right now. They were a year old in March. But my pullets are not molting, I should be getting at least 7 or 8 a day from those girls. Their eggs are not large but they have been pretty faithful. Just cold I guess, like you said. I'll just blame it on 2020. Hehe. I should put that on a t-shirt.

Blame it on 2020 sounds like a good Tshirt to me .
Morning all
