I talked to a consular (sp) about her and she told me mom had a personality disorder. She said it takes years to fix if at all and with her advanced age it wouldnt be possible. Like she would of even been willing.

He should vote! Probably knows more than most who make decisions based on one tv or internet ad. Like Twist said, he doesn't have to fill out the whole ballot, just what he wants to vote for.

Ugh. We have had zero eggs for about a month. Between old hens and molting hens (and old molting hens)... I'm going to have to buy eggs. First time in years!

Oh, ye of little faith!

One of the yak owners in the if believe fire has lost about 90% of their pasturing and such. BUT all the yaks are still alive and making "friends" with the fire fighters OR at least sharing their un-burned pasture with them.

Where was that fire? Lots in Montana and Colorado.

Thanks Blue! Yes, we are back home with all the critters. Fire is heading away from us, which means someone else is in danger now, so hard to be thrilled about that, but still grateful. We are still in a warning zone for evacuation, but the risk seems remote unless the wind shifts drastically.
No place like home! The mob was so happy. Knew where they were right away.

They wanted me to do that . I dont know how to.

Take your laptop into the office and see if someone can help you set it up! It would be good for you to have this option. save you from having to do all that driving when you don't need to. It's easy once you try it a couple times.

Mom craved anything sweet she could get her hands on. Then she would get mean. I mean she would get ready to kill mean. She drew her fist back on Robert once for no reason we could see and he sent me to my room because I was a mess then I heard him tell her, Go ahead and hit me but know when you do you are going to jail for abuse of a minor. It was bad here. I used to go out to my van to cry and she would follow me just to egg it on.

She must have had some other problem. Things like bipolar disorder get much worse with severe blood sugar fluctuations.

100 years ! Is it original? Can we see some pictures maybe of the wood work ? (inside)

Some is original. Sitting empty now. I can try to get some pics. The original bathroom was really cool, big claw foot tub. But that was one of the first things dad redid, actually split it into two bathrooms. Much more convenient, but more boring!

All that torment for you, and really, she didn't have any control over it. Very sad. Hope it helps a bit that you know now.
The deleterious effects of sugar on our bodies is a new frontier in human health right now. Amazing how it can impact so many other aspects of our health. If you can think of sugar as being more like a toxin, and treat it that way by limiting it, your body will thank you for it.

My mom has borderline personality disorder. It’s the reason we don’t visit often, and have an exit strategy in place when we do visit.

My mom, I think personality disorder IS the diagnoses W/O her being seen and just by what I told her thats the best we could get. and yes, it helped me a lot knowing she couldnt help it. Unfortunately it didnt help Robert at all. He hates her still.

My mom hated men. She didn’t like my sisters husband and my sister had 4 boys. There were times she wasn’t nice to them, they remember.
