I got a whopping 15 min nap. Robert (my son) who had literally slept the day away came in and said Are you sleeping !! Umm not now.

Power is back on!

Granny, winding narrow roads, too many people driving too fast... all power lines are above ground, big trees galore... car accidents and tree branches in the wind are often to blame for outages, and I think equipment and connections just wear out sometimes.

High winds are expected Wed and Thurs which means potential planned power shut downs to prevent fires. So far we are not on the list for that. Fingers crossed!

Very tired tonight. Poor Blake bonked himself in the head with the hammer. Just make a little scratch above his eye. He didn't even cry about it.
My husband and son pulled out all the stuff between the work shop and the garage. There are big piles everywhere.
