I don't know if standing around at the DMV all day is considered a real life. Was helping #1 register his out of state car and transfer title which has the wrong address which led #1 to discover that his driver's license has 2 numbers transposed in the address... and this was for that new Real ID that will soon be required for air travel (if you don't have a passport).
And that was after we tried to get the car smogged. First place, no, car is too old for their machine. Second place, I can do it, but it will cost more ($70!!) and it won't pass because the check engine light just came on.
Third place was a test and repair, but need an appointment and none available until late next week! Ugh. So temporary registration for the car and temporary license until his new corrected one arrives.Then I went shopping for fruit to make a fruit tray for a potluck brunch with the car club this morning. Cut up all the fruit after dinner and then fell asleep.
But it got done and we have 30 days (29 now) to get the car smogged. Well, fixed first and then smogged.
Oh boy fun!
Ooooooohhhh! I think the Holland lops are cutest bunnies. I came so close to buying 2 babies when I was in college. Melted my heart, but was probably better I didn't. Too busy to give them the right attention. I think they were mini Hollands. Is that a real thing? I can still picture them.
