I was yankin your chain, Granny.gross. I didnt check. I hope not. I cant do another shower today
Im not getting alerts very quickly. Been sitting right here .
well last time he did that I had to shower him. The smell was horrid .I was yankin your chain, Granny.
Peach would get excited and hump faces. Not people faces though, dog faces. And hump air. Crazy girl.Would not help. Humping is a behavior not sex related in this instance. My females hump each other more than the males.
BUT CUTE PUPPY! MUST GET THEM CRAZY! Ugh.Does she like being jumped on? I constantly tell people not make a big greeting and they never listen.
My breeder recommends not getting them neutered until 1-2 years old for that reason. I have some concerns about that, hoping he doesn't turn into a humper/marker....though I know even neutered/spayed early some dogs develop that habit.I have looked into a service dog training for veterans here. If he could find a strong man that had pstd he would be great but COVID has shut that down.
did you know they never neuter police dogs? Neutering is bad for their health. Bones and tendons. Get weak. More tears in the ligaments and tendons. Apparently testosterone is very important.
I wouldn’t want him in bite work. I don’t like teaching dogs to bite humans. I have seen to many out of control police dogs.
I don't think it's 100% ready yet, just closer than it was before.Did you know that Biden guy he will call to his cabinet wants the whole country in lock down.
Covid is going way up and he says the only way is mandatory lock down enforced by the police. But they have the vaccine ready but only certain people will get it first. Health care workers, elderly high risk.
In their defense, I thought I was ready to handle a GSD pup, since Peach and Lexi were both german shepherd mixes. But oh my word...I am overwhelmed lately. I know it'll get better, and I'm relishing the quiet morning we've been having so far...but...I really hate people sometimes. They had already had a PWD so they said they knew how to train.
Yep. Goose was FANTASTIC at letting us know when he had to go outside. Til I was getting out of the shower and hubs missed his cue (which was not very subtle, he'd yelp or make noises). Well, we're working on it again. It is often smart dogs that are hard to train. You just can't make mistakes with them, they learn so fast. Before you realize it, you have accidentally taught them something you didn't mean to, or that you regret teaching them, and of course they can't easily un-learn it! A friend of mine thought it was cute to teach his Golden to put his paws up on the counter. Haha very funny. Until he set his sandwich down, turned around to get a glass of milk, turned back around to find the sandwich gone and the dog licking his lips! Wohah, who's laughing now?
Sorry, Granny, still not getting alerts! Not just here, but for ANY threads. I will turn phone off and restart it in a bit, see if that helps. Up to .... not much, as usual. Um. Got a pot of veggie chili going for meals for today and tomorrow. Seasoning a couple of cast iron skillets .... what else? I dunno, feels like I have been busy but can't think of anything significant I have accomplished. Just, my regular daily routines, I guess! How about you?what are you up to today Blue ?
Thanks Blue!We do care, Cap.![]()
