I used to freeze them. soak them in salt water first so they didnt yellow and freeze them for fried apples. Good for breakfast

or fry them with onions and serve with pork

never had fried apples

they are delish! Mom used to fry them in butter and rollout canned biscuits and fry them then add glaze on top. Served warm they are the bomb !

I have a recipe for "apple pie in a jar" where you " can" them which I may do latter on as I have no room left in either of the 2 chest freezers or the 2 in the main floor fridges.
