Oooh ok, I know what you're talking about. It's hard to get paint to stick to those. You would need to rough it up with sandpaper first for it to adhere well.

I agree with Blue. A gift doesn't have strings attached. If it did it would be called a bargain or a burden, not a gift.

If you sent me a pr of earrings that belonged to your aunt and I sold them for $50. how would that make you feel? I just dont feel right about it. I think I will turn it into a flower pot maybe. Or use it and take a couple of these others down. The bigger they are the less work they need. Maybe he wont even bring it. That might be better yet.
