I love cooking, it is the cleaning afterwards that I hate.

I don't mind either really, as long as it takes less than 20 minutes to be done. After that, my back starts complaining loudly. It really is a torture chamber for me. I can do a lot of things with this stupid back, but standing at a counter with my arms extended out in front (chopping, stirring, washing...) is the worst. Toting an armful of firewood is much easier.

Which was a good thing as evidently I am now the motel "porter" when guests need things lugged around. And since it was an OLD man and a lady I couldn't refuse.

Doesn't it feel good when you help those older than you??
