I had a good day shopping. Got three partially filled 50 pound bags of grass seed free today, and a wooden display shelf free. Paid $ 0.01 for 2 small throw rugs! The lady screwed up and I wasn't going to argue with her. I have so much ou want to do, I had best get to bed. Good night my friends. Sleep well.

We just hatched out 12 chicks. I need an orp rooster. My chickens are getting too small. They fly to much.

My new pullets are laying now and they have quit flying over the fence... at least for now. All but one are pretty hefty.

What are your plans for the grass seed?
If we have another dry spring, I might try sprouting forage so the girls can have some greens.

He's good around chickens but they are afraid of him for now. The little Dominique pullet chases songbirds out of their yard and even went after a squirrel! Scooter wouldn't stand a chance against her!

There are 13 acres here with no grass. Going to plant it.
