Nobody is smarter than anybody else. Just they have different skill sets. I have 6 children ages 18, 17, 14, 14, 13, and 12. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. We home school so I know where each can excel and each will flounder. My 14 yr olds. The one is super book smart. The other is super strong and physically able. Not that he is dumb. He isn't. He just has a different skill set. One can read anything and learn the other has to physically do it to learn. One can build anything he wants and the other is not so inclined.

BTW as long as you do your best you never fail. The only way to fail is to give up. As long as you try and keep trying you will succeed. Anybody who says you are dumb or stupid is a person who does not want to say that in front of me. They will not like me.

My parents always tell me how behind I am. My siblings always make fun of me for my grades. It doesn't matter to me how I have different skillsets, when nobody notices my skillsets, and punishes me for not having the skills they want me to.

That's one of biggest problems on the info-net... same info gets repeated over and over again, a lot times blatantly plagiarized, and the info often isn't true in the first place. Happens all the time.

He is kinda lost on what to do.

No, you are not. When the negative thoughts come tell them to shut up, that they are liars, that need to go find somebody else to torture. It is hard to make the negative thoughts stop, but it can be done. With time and repeating positive things about yourself, the negative thoughts will come less often. But like everything practice makes for better performance. I don't say practice makes perfect, cause nothing and nobody is perfect.
