Frozen. Breeder doesn't sell snakes until they are eating frozen thawed.

our breeder lied to us I think but didnt know it at the time. Said the snake was eating crickets . He ate 2 pinkies for me then went on strike

Oh, they will. They aren't venomous, so not really a danger.
I got bit trying to pick up a gopher snake. I didn't even realize it got me until I felt the blood dripping down my finger.
This king snake is young and was very scared... me, the dog, a pack of ravenous chickens. All to much for the little guy.

It has pretty colors. I thought king snakes were all black.

Western kings are black and white banded, which I love. Makes them easy to id. Hope he goes and eats whatever rotten little vermin has been eating the pea plants from underground.
