Granny's gone and done it again

Good morning, Grannyites. I have a question I hope y'all can help me with. I've been selling eggs to a customer who gets 6 doz every 2 weeks. Last week he said a friend of his wants the next batch. But he wants them unrefrigerated and unwashed. He does not want them for hatching, as I first thought. He wants them for long-term storage in a crock. That's fine, I'm somewhat familiar with the method. The guy is an OTR truck driver, so he has no refrigeration on his long hauls.

My question is this. Can I safely store eggs like this in my house for a week in this current heat (80-90's)? I may be able to find a coolish spot in the basement. How cool should I try to keep them to be sure they are safe? I do NOT want to take a chance on this guy getting sick from my eggs! Should I even agree to do it? Sign me -
Very Worried!

55 degrees keep popping in my head for some reason. I used to store mine in a closet. 2 weeks for hatching. I dont know about eating. Unwashed they are supposed to last longer. As long as the buyer knows exactly how they were stored I would say thats on him.

Just realized that I forgot to cover watermelon seeds that gson & me planted two days ago, so I went out with shovel to cover them with dirt, dug 6 holes for maters while I was out in the heat. Wish it would rain so my seeds would germinate.
I wish it would rain so the temperature would go down. And the plants would get watered.

Your house is 80-90 degrees inside? I feel for you friend.
Should be ok. Keep away from direct sunlight don’t wash them.
No. Not in the house. Sorry, outside temps. House normally around 73F.

Howdy all, Nancy and I ended up going to red lobster.and the fish store. I found the algae eaters and assassin snails I have needed. Accidentally put 2 plecos in one tank and now I have to find it and move it to the last tank I needed one for.
2 hr ride one way from here.
