Granny's gone and done it again

Making progress. I need to make 2 doors and tack up a bit of wire. Then add perches and cross pieces to attach the roof to. Hopefully put birds in by Monday.

Good morning, Grannyites. I have a question I hope y'all can help me with. I've been selling eggs to a customer who gets 6 doz every 2 weeks. Last week he said a friend of his wants the next batch. But he wants them unrefrigerated and unwashed. He does not want them for hatching, as I first thought. He wants them for long-term storage in a crock. That's fine, I'm somewhat familiar with the method. The guy is an OTR truck driver, so he has no refrigeration on his long hauls.

My question is this. Can I safely store eggs like this in my house for a week in this current heat (80-90's)? I may be able to find a coolish spot in the basement. How cool should I try to keep them to be sure they are safe? I do NOT want to take a chance on this guy getting sick from my eggs! Should I even agree to do it? Sign me -
Very Worried!
The cooler the storage site, the better. If the bloom is on the eggs, they can easily go 3-4 weeks. I've done it many times and no problem. I wouldn't give him any eggs that are soiled, have hairline cracks or thin shells.
I rarely wash eggs.

Very helpful, Wishing, thanks. I'll do my best to keep the nests extra-special super clean all week! I usually refrigerate my eggs right away (because I have nowhere else to store them), but don't wash them until the day before they are to be sold - mostly because I am lazy and disorganized, lol!
