I work a little & sit in the shade of the mulberry tree a while & pray & listen to the birds, then work some more. I set a goal of what I'm gonna do before I begin & quit when I reach my goal

Great! They are starting to get their little feathers. The black chick, Marigold, is the smallest, and also the malpositioned chick. Seems to be the “special” chick. The only one that was malpositioned, born on Father’s Day, and the only one that is black. I am excited to see what they feather out into.

But I thought it only worked for some breeds, like leghorns. But since my chicks are all mixes, I would have to wait until they are older…
