Granny's gone and done it again

Yes but I don’t want to do a prong collar without guidance, and when he gets excited he pulls the martingale collar to the point where it doesn’t really release it just catches up in itself. I’m not planning on having him hooked to the harness 24/7 - I still want him to respond to the leash pressure but this will keep him contained without doing damage if he does have puppy insanity (or he sees my neighbor who gets him hyped up)

So many rules for owning a dog anymore I'm glad I don't.

Is there a maintenance to keep them this pretty, like thinning or separating rhizomes each year?
We probably do need to thin them but have not done so yet. They are in the chickens' run so the chooks fertilize, cultivate, and keep the bugs off them, lol. In return the chickens enjoy the coolness of their shade and shelter.

The deer trim mine back, even the flowers sometimes!
