Granny's gone and done it again

Whats an independent weave? I am training weave for "my" dog, seems to be hot recently, so I have taken a pause.
he wont enter the weave poles without me no futher than three poles down. I'm trying to get him to do the weaves without me right next to him. he's really good at distant jumps

Sorry, no. I've not done agility. Mostly I just want my dogs to be good citizens. I'm making good progress on the barking! Gracie's doing her best to teach Sammy her bad habits and I'm campaigning against it. Getting Sammy not to chase our cars is another major goal. This is plenty to keep me busy.
Trying to teach my dog to not be scared of other dogs AND not to bark at them. She is quite a small little one, so she gets scared of larger dogs at the park

gave up trying to make deacon a good citizen. He'd much rather eat everybody elses dogs than behave in public
Hmm. Do you do obedience with him? Usually if a dog is focused on controlling himself he doesn't have time to be aggressive. He's also intact, isn't he?

I don't even remember the last time I set up my whole course. I probably still wont for awhile unless it gets really cool again. I just felt like touching up his skills. Its been at least 6 months since we've done weaves and he did it perfectly. I spent most of my time trying to get him to enter properly without me standing right next to me.

I guess it doesn't matter, we will never compete. its more for show offs than anything

What do you do when she acts scared?

Oh yes, lots of obedience. I've dropped all new tricks and agility for the past several months to focus souly on obedience. He could probably trial in an obedience competiiton and win the whole damn thing if he wasn't so focused on eating other dogs.

No, hes been fixed since 8 weeks old.

I need a real trainer, LOL

Yeah but it gives him something to focus on.
