Did you ever do that when you were in Hawaii ? Did you go fishing?

My hot water heater went out. My daughter and sil looked all over town today for a heater that will fit through the door of the cubby hole it goes in on the outside wall. The old one is only 16 inches wide. Seems to be no such animal no more. I put the old one in about 10 or 12 years ago. By the time we decided on a tankless heater it was too late to do anything so I'll be without hot water for a week.

Your getting a tankless ? I always wondered how those worked.

35 years ago I went fishing pretty regularly.

No, but BIL's FIL was a fisherman. We had just caught ahi (red tuna) one time. Soooo delicious! He passed away years ago, but I never forgot that ahi.
Also, poor hubs gets seasick, so fishing from a boat, where you get the best fish, would be very uncomfortable. He went out with BIL's FIL one time and tossed his cookies... all of them! He even got sea sick in the water, free diving for abalone. Not good to chum the water like that off our coast!

dont you miss it? I sure do. I could go get my license and go alone but I want to be able to go with someone. I dont like being alone

you would have to put a ball and chain around me to keep me away from the water! Poor guy.
