Granny's gone and done it again

Goodmorning. Its going alright. I need to rebuild the top on my well house but I'll have to wait until my sil can bring me some wood.
Yea, it's hard to beat a good chicken fried steak imo.
Is it a peaked roof? Ive never done one of those. When I was roofing my coop I did a flat roof and added a rubber sheet to seal it off. It works.

Yes, it's peaked. I built it in 98 when I first bought the place. Wish I hadn't built it so heavy. I'm only repairing it this time. Maybe next summer I'll build a flat roof and make it a lot lighter.

When I used to cook I would half freeze the cube steak then slice it in strips . Freezing it made it easier to slice. I dunked it in a milk/egg wash before I battered it. I used veggie oil but I always added some bacon grease to that. Gives it better flavor I think.
Oh, that sounds good. My grandmother used to save her bacon grease in a big can to use for cooking in other things. I loved her cooking. I can see that big can now.

My husband would build things heavy too..and to stay! He cemented the posts that the coop was attached to. He also cemented the posts of fencing runs for them.

I used to do that too. My coop build was a big project! I would add 8x8 each year for 4 years til I was satisfied it was big enough.
