Granny's gone and done it again

We went to visit my great uncle today. He was happy but kept saying stupid stuff. Dimensia I guess. At first he though Mom was a kid. Then he thought she was pregnant. She is 40 some years old and has three kids. Pretty sure she is not. Then he was sure he was 74. Trish (his ex wife that he is staying with) could prove it. He is 94. Then he was talking about me getting married. The other day he took the clock off the wall. He loves when we come to visit. At least he wasnt crying this time. One thing he did today really made me laugh, other than him going on about a new baby. He got up from his chair and Trish asked why he was getting up. He answered her saying because he could. He then got up and Trish asked him where he was going. He said he had not figured that out yet. And we brought him cookies. Trish's dog is diabetic. He ALMOST gave that dog a chocolate chip cookie. It was a close call. Night y'all!

Are you serious? You and I have a lot in common. I also did a lot for mom. Didn't live with her, but ran her around, she never drove her whole life. My brother did, but he wouldn't drive distance. I sure did a lot for her when I did live at home before I got married. Paid the bills, by walking downtown for her. She had gotten quite depressed there for a while. Us kids did a lot for her. Somehow she came out of her funk and started losing weight, started going out and about. Whew, was glad for that.
my mom was also antisocial. We lived together for about 8 yrs til she passed.
