after the throat is cut the rooster will still twitch like its feeling that but its not. That shocks some people.

My Grandma butchered one for New Year's using this method but becos she didn't do it well the poor fella was still running around with a broken neck and blood spurting out of the cut!!

My suggestion would be a cervical dislocation.. much cleaner and more humane I reckon as the poor chicken will still remain conscious for a few minutes after a guillotine.

Yeah the hatchet is like a guillotine.. recent findings have discovered that the poor chicken will remain conscious for a few minutes even after that.. cervical dislocation stretches the nerves and renders it unconscious imediately so it's more humane...CD is a standard procedure for euthanizing lab rodents...

Kevin got my picture hung up today. It looks really good I think. I tried to take a picture but it was throwing a big glare so I will have to wait for some daylight. He also moved the mirror and hung it up somewhere else.

I managed to take the tree down today. Im leaving the cards up for a while. Thats the only decorations I had .

I'm getting an infusion next month..for my osteoporosis. . I really didn't stay in the diets long. Back in the 70's, it was for after a baby. I lost it pretty quick. Then stopped the Atkins. This Keto I only stayed on for around 9 months. Stopped it. I'm thinking/hoping I should be ok. . I'm just like my skinny little sister, she has osteoporosis too. Only she's been one to fight to keep weight in! What?!
