Granny's gone and done it again

As promised, this is what kept me up. There were even some colors that couldn't fit!

Good morning All,
Have coffee. On cup #2. Looked at the weather forecast and this wee is not happening. Tomorrow is run around and pay the bills, so my Monday plans are not happening. Then we are supposed to get sleet, freezing rain, and/or snow Wed and Thurs. I live in KY, not WI. I should be able to get stuff down all year long. Not this year apparently.
So the boys are coming up with alternative projects for the next few weeks. They are praying Phil doesn't see his shadow this year.
Need to get the fence finished, the rabbits moved and the new coops built before lambing starts this year. Gonna check the egg auctions and then get some knitting done.
Egg auctions? You hatch? I used to. I miss it. :(

Yes, I hatch. I have two cabinet incubators and an 8 x 10 shed for brooding. Plus I have like 4 brooders in my living room.
I am hoping to add peafowl to the list of what I have here this year. I have a few Peafowl eggs coming along with some babies that I ordered (I am on the waiting lists with a breeder)
I am also looking at Emus but may have to get a breeding pair as I heard their eggs are notoriously hard to incubate.

Good morning! I slept in today. 😝
Wish I could have. Layed in bed until 3 in the morning trying to get to sleep. Not sure why this is happening. Got up at 8:30. Church is at 9, but I watched on zoom today. Some of us that can't always make it to church have special permission to watch by zoom. Glad I can. There were some really good talks today. The sky is blue! The white mountain tops are beautiful. There isn't much of a breeze which is unusual at this time of morning. A quiet morning. The kids are at church. It's just me and the dogs. :)

I've heard the same about the Emu eggs. Man, I would love to live in a place that could/would not only allow these animals, fowls, but to have the room for them. I used to wish often that I was raised on a farm. The closest I got was going to visit my grandmother. She had a lot of chickens, ducks, and the guineas from the neighbors always came over to her place. She had a cute little stream run right down the middle of her back acreage. I loved being there. Big black cattle, Angus, in fields up from her. A man had a lame deer on his property that he cared for. It would cone right up to us to visit. So many fond memories. I would most certainly have had horses if I had the room. Farm. :).
