Granny's gone and done it again

Oh no no no. My ankle is…bout the same just more purple lol. I’ll post pics after my waxing appointment today. Just dont want to subject you all to my fuzziness.

Just that everyone went silent after my curse last night lol.
I think we were all in bed? I was. Actually I think I fell asleep without signing out. I pulled a Granny, lol!

We had and have again a Yorkie that must "kiss the babies"

My husband is missing his Yoda who passed in October, but Dobby is the new Yoda. Dobby must "kiss the babies." He now sits in front of my incubator waiting for babies.
The dogs are better than the cats are although I wouldn't trust the dogs very far. They leave the chickens alone in the yard when one of the roosters gets loose but in the house?

2 years ago we had a blue bird get down our chimney and wind up in our wood stove. Silly things do that regularly in the spring when they are looking for somewhere to nest. Why they think a chimney looks like a nesting box is beyone me but they do.

I managed to catch the bird but the minute my hand cleared the stove the little ash covered missile squirted out of my hand and took off for the nearest window....only to have one of our cats jump out from behind the sofa, jump up and grab it out of mid air. That was the end of that little blue bird. Frankly I was impressed. That old cat hadn't jumped that high in years but you can imagine how long loose chicks would last in the house.

I just had the scariest thing happen. Was answering another part of a question for Blue, when my dog started making horrible sounds! She had her teeth cleaned today, so she was put under. I looked at her, and she wouldn't move as I called her name. I pat her hard, nothing. I started yelling for Austin. Pounding on the floor. He came running along with his wife and little guy. I told him what was going on. We kept petting her, patting her. She finally looked up at him. We watched her for a few minutes. She kept making a sucking in sound. Watched her until she got up for us. Now I'm scared for tonight. The kids were scared it was for me. Austin thought..oh no..she's fallen and broken something. He was thankful it was for the dog. They know how much I love these dogs though. Whew, she got up and followed me around. Man, I can still hear that aweful breathing. 😧

I am sorry I laughed a bit. I have had similar things happen. The best was this one. Yes, you can laugh. I was standing there with my mouth agape when it happened.

We had a cat go tearing across the yard like the hounds or you know where was after him. He ran up the hill behind the shop and at the top made this skateboarder BMX bike Jump twisting turn and caught a raven or crow (was a big black bird flying) mid-air. The cat landed with the bird. Killed it a few seconds later and went about his day.

It did explain all the bird parts we would randomly find.
