Ash Wednesday already? I usually give up chocolate since it's about the only real sweet I can tolerate. My faith is a branch off of the Episcopal church, which Robin Williams called Catholic Lite so I guess that would make mine Catholic Ultra Lite. That and no meat on Friday through Lent.
So much going on in the world that I lost track of things date wise. Howdy everyone. Beautiful weather here. Temps in the 60s and 70s. It feels like spring outside but I know mother nature is just toying with us until at least next month then she still may have a few cruel tricks up her sleeve. Last year our peach trees were in full bloom and had snow on them.
My cholesterol was a bit high. Not alarming, doctor wanted me to start statins so I did. After 6 weeks I stopped taking them. They were making me sicker than a dog. I have the chronic gastritis anyway so I don't need any meds that will make it worse. Just have to watch the diet a bit closer.
