I never knew that you should let beef hang that long before processing. We killed, skinned and gutted it one day and processed it the next. Does that mean we've been doing it wrong for the last forty years?

I do know that hanging makes the meat more tender BUT to each his own ALSO yaks are NOT grain fed with also makes a difference.

not if I don't sell the meat NOPE my animal and yak is a legitmate meat animal

we have always also hung out deer for a few days at least to get the most blood out of the meat. Deer is lean like yak.

I am thinking I should/might have Curly and Annie pg tested as well. Since hay a swather has been in with them and was definitely "trying" That brings possible calves up to 16. UFFDA
