A couple of days ago there was a bad wreck in far west Texas that took 9 lives. Seven in a van from a college in New Mexico were returning from a golf tournament they had participated in. Seems a pickup truck crossed into their lane and hit them head on causing a fiery crash. Seven people in the van and two in the truck. The driver of the truck was only thirteen years old. They said it appears the left front tire blew out on the pickup truck.

I will say though, all puns aside, I always forget how NICE the freaking truck rides when the bed is full of stuff. $17 got me half a yard AND a bunch of cow manure. WIN!

Hubs wants my truck to go pick up another truck tomorrow (UGH aint nobody got gas for that!) so away I must go! Just finished a super tedious day of work, think I'll have to put in a few hours tomorrow too. I just feel like I'm freaking drowning in it lately.

ok, ok, the town I lived in in Alberta was a farming town. It wasn't unheard of to see kids driving the farm trucks/equipment during harvest...but that was middle of nowhere alberta.

What was a 13 year old doing driving a truck this time of year? It ain't harvest!
