He's been working from home since covid started, and luckily only has to go in once a week, if that. Saves on gas $$ and the 1½ hrs he'd spend driving is his. Win win!

We topped out at 74⁰ today. Lovely and overcast most of the day. Perfect for me while recovering from stupid covid.

Well. Survived the week, though I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck today. (Whether the covid bug is finally getting me or if it’s hormonal or just stress/exhaustion remains to be seen). Payroll is done that’s all I care about. Boss lady is back on Tuesday…

One guesstimator is starting to feel human again says he, but still testing positive, other guesstimator it’s a lot more “professional” of a relationship (aka he’s a hard donkey so I bribe him with eggs to get away with what I do, but don’t really delve into personal life details - so aside from me responding to his email on Tuesday that he was still feeling poorly and he wouldn’t be in that day with “I’m expecting you’ll be out of the office all week, we’ll hold down the fort DO NOT BRING THAT PLAGUE BACK TO THE OFFICE OR ELSE” I haven’t been getting updates on how he’s feeling. (Don’t worry I did say I hoped he was feeling better soon but he is a staunch covid denier so….)

Sorry I’ve been a bit absent but seriously. Between short work week and oh look EVERYBODY IS GONE….yeah. Not great.

Goose got to come to the office with me yesterday. USPS guy was very apprehensive but ups guy was all about loving on him. (note, goose was tethered to me the entire time at the office due to the fact that 1. My cube is right by the door, 2. His recalls still are sporadic, 3. Busy freaking street and 4. This is a business and goose is a big dog. I don’t want him scaring anyone. I figured boss lady and her reactive dog were out of town, it’s just me and other admin, so if other admin wanted to stay all day she’s not alone, and that way I can swing by petco and their self bath stations after work and give him a scrub down after his Daisy playing. (I still gotta wash his collar…doh). She ended up still nope-ing out once the yard was packing up to go (they work 6am-2:30) and since she had the keys…that’s when we left too.

He was a perfect gentleman the entire time. I am so pleased with him. (And yes. I need to dust off my dash. Dirt road living yall. This weekend I’ll give it some love)

He almost came in with me again today but since other admin didn’t want to put in full days…I figured I’d leave him at home so he doesn’t start thinking he can always come to work with me.

Bad pain day for me and Star. She must of fell when she was outside. She mostly can't walk. L needed to stand her up a few times and Robert carried her to bed but she didnt stay. She is dragging her back end around. I gave her aspirin but didnt notice a difference. It was too late to call the vet. If she isnt better in the morning I will call.
