Granny's gone and done it again

My goodness. Can't win for losing. I didn't say anything yesterday because I feel like I whine enough..but..here goes. Could hardly walk yesterday. Not because of my head, but my right hip! Man it hurt. Today was redciulous. Bronwyn was home working, she got it off to take me in. He said.. sciatica. I said..no..I've had that, it doesn't hurt this bad! So X-rays. He says, well you do have a few things going on.. arthritis, bone spur on each hip, but the padding looks good..so... sciatica. That nerve is causing havoc. Told me to look up stretches. Ice it. I've done both, it is helping. I couldn't help but think this morning of Granny. I've thought it often. I may be miserable with this head thing, but at least I'm not in pain all the time like poor Granny. Wait! As I just wrote that, I'm now thinking, of course. Granny and I have this thing about having shared this that and another thing through the years. Well, here I am, in pain. Now Granny, don't you dare go get this ... woozy head! 😛 Whew, at least the pain isn't as bad as it was this morning. Will probably wake up with it in the morning. Hoping this stuff works good enough to handle it. I probably have a blown disc. But doing these things can help.

No, anti inflammatory helps. Advil. I can't take pain meds. I already feel like I'm walking around like I e taken two Lortabs. Yuck. And yes, bending over makes the woozy worse..and, tilting my head back.
tilting your head back makes it worse? Sounds like a pinched nerve to me. Have you had a nerve conduction study done?

If you alternate ice with heating pad I think it helps more. The spur will hurt worse in the mornings.
I looked online, ice the first week, then heat to be next when it starts getting better. I asked the Dr about that. He said whichever one I want. And to put it where it hurts. Online says to put it on your lower back because it hats where the nerve is pinched. Oh well.. whatever..I'm thinking like you..alternate now. I'm going to try that tommorow.
