Yikes. Borderline (?) abuse! You're a saint. I'd have a pitchfork behind my desk with a sign on it saying The Next Person That Speaks To Me....

Oh but of course she’s an exception because she’s such a wonderful human being.

But we have it set to that all the time. Even in the winter, so the AC doesn't run all that much to cool the room since it is kept at that temp all year.

Ahh. Still too much a temp difference between inside and outside. As is our ac can’t keep up when it’s super hot.

Golly I wish I were somewhere I could just have windows open for fresh air and not die…

Work.

I don't work fridays and yet have immediate attention emails (even though I've told everyone hey, you need something quick when I'm not in the office, follow up with a text since my email doesn't always push through/I have notifications from my work email turned off on the phone)...

So far this morning I had one superintendent text me stuff at the crack of freaking dawn.
One foremen asking me about sick time for one of his guys. (seriously, this foreman knows I have fridays off..."Katrina, I'm sorry to bug you on your day off but...."
And of course, bossman emailing counsel asking me to send an excel version of a document...that I sent HIM the excel version last night. Are you freaking kidding me.

Ninja edit. Went to the grocery store this am. The cashier I think is normally management....but apparently they had a bunch of people call in or no show.

I dunno. I still think it would be a good idea for me to get a weekend gig just to help pay some crap down. Hubs was very against such a thing, since "you work too hard already" but...at least this would be a job that I go to, do my thing, go home. No stress, no worries, just go, rock my shift, and go home.
