Granny's gone and done it again

Beth started whelping about 3 am and #9 a still born came about noonish.

2 and 1/2 runts. 5 nasty boys and 3 females. 5 liver and 3 black.

I am beat back latter , maybe.

I love my boys.

well I got shopping done, came home and rested for a while then did dishes. That was a lot for me. I actually found a filter for the 5 gallon for $10.00 and since I wanted to keep that one I went ahead and bought it. It is still in the box. Tomorrow I guess.

How do you cook those Blue?

Just gonna cut em into one-inch chunks and cook em in a little salted water till tender, then serve with butter n salt. S'pose one could get fancy and cook em in a slow skillet w tomaters and onions, maybe even some corn that's been seared a little on a grill, but for my first taste I just want to enjoy them plain.
