They raised the cost of Medicare last year taking away that cost of living raise. Are they raising Medicare again this year?

Haven't heard. Hope not. My SS is pretty high. I'm doing ok with it. Getting some from my husband's.

The standard monthly premium for Medicare Part B enrollees will be $164.90 for 2023, a decrease of $5.20 from $170.10 in 2022. The annual deductible for all Medicare Part B beneficiaries is $226 in 2023, a decrease of $7 from the annual deductible of $233 in 2022

I'm blessed that my husband left me with military insurance. Between the two, I don't get bills from Drs offices or the hospital. I do pay some for medicine. Just paid 8 dollars for my Celexa. I pay 14 dollars for my Ferocon.

50 added onto my SS plus I get 40 dollars every few months for OC medical needs.

sometimes I wonder if its better to be poor. I dont have to worry about my meds and dr. visits.
