Granny's gone and done it again

Need to find me a candied yam recipe. Doing thanksgiving in the desert as is tradition round these parts. I bring the honeybaked ham (picking that up monday), "kat carrots" (maple glazed carrots) and I'll do some sweet taters. Every family brings a little something :)

do NOT like candies yams. BUT if your starting with the canned ones all you need is a little butter, some brown sugar, marshmellows and pecans or walnuts.

I would drain the liquid off.

same here. Sometimes honey and brown sugar.

NOPE. Fresh sweet taters. I think I have a slow cooker recipe somewhere....just need to find it ;)

I like to just bake them and then serve like you do a cat.;)

Butter, salt and pepper.
