We don't own a carriage ourselves, we just use my brothers' or a friends' carriage. I don't have any pictures of either.

Oh. When you said you drive, I thought you meant ... horses.

We do also drive horses, they just aren't our primary mode of transportation. It's more of a pleasure hobby.

My Nancy had a memorial for her dd today. She is so very upset. Seems like the more days that go by the worse it hits her. They flew dd ashes back from Texas.

Yes, I understood it to be for pleasure. I traveled across several states in a covered wagon when I was younger and I know that it takes pretty much all day to cover about 20 miles, so as a mode of transportation it's pretty much a wash. But for fun, or competition, .. oh yeah! Nice looking beasts. What are they? Sorry, I mean what breed, obvi they are horses. Daughter is quite a looker! I don't want to hazard a guess ...

The sire is 50% Gypsy Vanner and 50% Arabian. The daughter is 50% Gypsy Vanner, 25% Arabian and 25% quarter horse.

And .. no wonder I couldn't ID her! I was thinking, Belgian? No ... nothing else fit. Hard to figure out how big she was, no perspective... how tall is she?
