Granny's gone and done it again

Hi all, long day for me. I went to Versailles for smokes then Madison to food shop. Came home and did something I seldom do. I cried from the pain. Robert didnt know what to do. He filled up Toms pills and drew his shot up then heated up his food and served him.
Im still not over it. Grocerys were over $400. but we were out of everything.

Howdy all.

Rough day. Put my hen down who had the broken Femur. She was losing weight and still not using the leg after almost 6 weeks. Today she didn't want to stand other than on the hock of her uninjured leg. It was time. When I picked her up she was skin and bones. No breast meat at all.

Afterwards I was able to examine the leg without fear of hurting her. The fracture was above the knee. It had stabilized but the knee would bend but felt 'weird' like maybe the fractured head of the femur had rotated and torn all the ligaments and tendons? It was a horrible injury and while I'm going to miss her (she looked like a golden comet) I'm glad she isn't in pain any more. Fly free Pumpkin.............

I could, I'm jut not smart enough. 😁
Well , i did a c section on a pregnant goat. Of course, she had just died when i walked in the barn. I figured the kids might still be alive. So i went for it. It was just like i had done it before, my neighbor was there and just couldn't believe it. Sadly, the kids had died a couple days ago and i didn't know that at the time.
Of course , operating on a live person requires a ton of training and knowledge. So i am not signing up to do surgery right now. Lol. But if i had to dig a bullet out or the person was going to die and no doctor or hospital, well i would do what i could.

I've had just about every..inside surgery there is to have. The hysterectomy was scary. Surgeon left three bleeders..I lost half my blood volume before he got back to fix me. It was awful. Glad Scott was there to keep the nurses on it..they were out in the hall partying for a nurse that was leaving. He was told at first when he went out to them my BP was dropping..oh..that's normal just after surgery. Then it kept dropping..I kept passing out. Super glad I had my neck done, my shoulder, appendix, gall bladder. Not sure if I left anything..out...😆
This is why i won't leave hubby alone after surgery in the hospital.
