There was a squirrel running up and down my mulberry tree like a crazy man, looking for something to eat. But there's nothing! Last week I had to put honey out for honey bees, they were crawling all over in the chickens' crumble, rolling around in it and trying to pick up pieces of it to carry off, poor things. Lucky I had half a jug of crystallized honey in the cupboard to give them.

Yes! If you have a hive, you have to leave them some because that's their food for the winter. You can't harvest it all.

What time do you have to get up? Would it do any good to set him an alarm and tell him to wake you up when it goes off - and not before?

I dont have an alarm. I doubt it would do any good . I had to show him it was dark outside to get him back to bed
