Austin got me my balloons. Scott always got me balloons and flowers on Valentines Day. ❤View attachment 3404895
Aww, that's sweet!

Today is The Man's and my 12-and a halfth (??) Halfaversary! We've been married 12 and a half years today. :love And I feel so blessed to be with this wonderful man. I'll tell you, if you read 1 Cor. 13 and put his name everywhere it says "charity", you'll have a description of my guy. ❤️ Happy Valentines, everybody! :hugs

If you ever have something that needs to be tumbled and you want to risk shipping it, I have a 65 pound rotary tumbler that I run 24/7/365.
I also have an 18" stone saw that can cut up to 7".
Thanks Troyer. This thing weighs almost 6 pounds. I'll have to get some quotes from USPS and see what the rate would be. Might take you up on that offer if it's reasonable. My tumbler is small. I think it only holds something like 5 pounds. I usually tumble one to two inch stones in it....which reminds me I need to put a load of stones in and get it going again. I've had it turned off since summer...my bad.

oooooooo, me too, Wishing. Gorgeous birds. I love Speckled Sussex just lovely sweet birds. Had one that I lost to Marek's that was a heart breaker to lose. She was just such a wise little hen, calm, nothing flustered her.

Are those Welsummer hens I see also? Yeah, I know I could go back and find your post but I'm cooking dinner and this is more fun. :)
I have one Welsummer and an EE with similar coloring. The EE will be 11 yrs this spring along with Peach, the very round Buff Orp.

I've used candle wax on cracked eggs before with good results. Mine were about 3 days away from hatching though so not enough time for them to get an infection. Still the eggs were damaged when the lid slipped off my incubator. All three that survived, and spackled together with candle wax, hatched and lived.

Guess my mystery find will continue to be a mystery and until I can get a definitive answer it will remain a raw lace quartz rock. If I can figure out how to cut through the beast I may try but it's such a really cool rock I hate to do that.

My husband will rock hunt with me and is good at spotting 'finds' I was on my own the day I found the mystery rock though. Yeah, rock hunting is more fun when you have company.
Not fun when the person you are with wants to quit and go home after 10 minutes. Ugh.
