Granny's gone and done it again

Just moved the chicks into a larger cage! I think they approve! 😁View attachment 3410295
Does anyone have any suggestions of things to add for entertainment?
If you have a coop ready they’re definitely old enough to move out…especially since you live in SD

they seem to be looking for ways to escape already lol😆

I am getting the coop ready, i’m going to move them out in about a week, they just pretty curious since I just moved them and left it open. For now, I take them out for a couple hours a day to play outside :)!

Sorry if you told us this already, but is this your first crop of chickens or will you be integrating them with an older flock?

They are going to be integrating into a older flock, I have some chicks about a month or two older than them so I am hoping I can block off part of the coop (my coop is split with a door in the middle) and maybe have those chicks live together for a while and my adults live in the other side. There is plenty of space for all of them on each half by the way :).

I seem to be sick. Going to the clinic tomorrow to (hopefully) be sure I don't have another case of the Black Plague of Death. I really hope I don't so The Man can take me back to the Good Feet store and get an adjustment on one of my inserts. It still hurts more than it should and there's a 60-day window for adjustments. Much better than it was, though!
