It's to be expected that there will be an adjustment period when you add a new member to the family. It upsets the pecking order and it takes a bit of adjusting until everyone knows where they fit again.

The dogs have accepted our new cat, and she them, as if they have always known each other. Not so with the resident cat, however. That will take a lot longer.
