Granny's gone and done it again

Let us know what you find out in your dr appt tomorrow, Cynthia. Will be praying for you. Will be trying not to worry, also! Sometimes my feelings struggle against my faith. Love you, gal! :hugs
Your feelings are human, and I highly doubt that you caring for someone is going anywhere against God's will. He knows your faith. ❤️

Today i helped hubby move some of the raised beds into line, where they will go. And showed him where i want the beds he is making out of logs.
It was quite cool and hubby wasn't feeling well, so other than walking the dogs, he stayed in. I burned two piles of stuff, one was mostly logs( he stacked that), and one was stuff i raked out behind the studio. Neither one wanted to burn for long. The one hubby stacked didn't have enough branches in to keep the logs burning. The one i lit had lots of leaves, some sticks and roots, and some dirt. It was making a lot of smoke.
So, i dragged a bunch of branches out of the woods and broke them up to get the fire burning well. Later tonight, i loaded the Mule with more thick braches and put those on to keep it going. It will need more tomorrow. He never seems to learn. Of course, he knows i can't resist helping a fire burn all the stuff up. Lol.
I was trying to decide if I was tired enough for bed. I am now. Reading this, yawn, 🤭 made me tired. Hope you sleep tonight.

You would need to be awful brave to hold one of those.
I met a woman who was involved with wildlife rescue and rehab. Everyone called her the Bat Lady. She pulled back her coat jacket and I saw why... she had a few injured bats hanging inside.
Rabies is a real risk for bats, but she had taken rabies vaccine, so she wasn't totally crazy.

Another thing about bats... most people think of them as flying rodents, but they are not rodents, not even close. The latest research shows that horses, whales and dogs (and pangolins, but most people don't know what these are!) share a common ancestor to bats and so are their most close relatives.
The llargest bats are called flying foxes. They really look like a fox, with canine looking teeth, but mostly they eat fruit.

Bats are cool.

I start prepping for my AP bio exam this week—will continue to up until the exam date in May. I’m not too worried since I got a 5 on the practice, but a little more studying won’t hurt. I’m also studying for USABO (basically a biolympiad) at the same time—which I hope to take next yr. Other than that, not much else going on (except several other court-related things). oh and I hate having to take two math classes this tri…plus both are my morning classes. Math rn is so plain and boring—I have to keep myself from yawning my way through class. If it weren’t for Calc, I wouldn’t even mess with any of these prerequisite classes—especially since most of the easier math classes can literally be learned online. Anyways, skipped a few pages, but I hope today finds you all well.
